Life Time Healthy Way of Life

A healthy lifestyle extends far beyond the walls of a health club. At Life Time, the nation’s premier healthy lifestyle brand with more than 160 athletic country clubs, that “more” includes a full spectrum of amenities, products, offerings and services.

From exercise to nutrition, the latest Life Time offers members all they need for a well-rounded and fulfilling lifestyle. In addition to an expansive workout floor, Dynamic Personal Trainers, group fitness classes like açai bowling and yoga, rockwall climbing, tennis, swimming and pickleball, the brand’s holistic approach to wellness includes a LifeCafe and LT Recovery featuring compression, massage and chiropractic services; the upcoming Life Time Dumbo in Brooklyn; and specialized ARORA programming for active agers.

In the club, Life Time 23rd Street in Minneapolis will be packed with state-of-the-art equipment and a variety of ways to work out, from an open gym floor anchored by strength and cardio machines to studios for cycling, barre and yoga. A LifeCafe will offer wholesome food and beverages and a menu that includes the company’s Good Food Rules, which ban items with high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, added sugar and artificial colors or flavors. And in keeping with its mission to promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle, the facility will feature an onsite apothecary with everything from vitamins to supplements to filtered water.

The Life Time digital app serves as the hub for all things in-club: checking in, logging a workout, ordering food and drinks at LifeCafe or registering for a class or court all happen here. And when it’s time to relax and recharge, members can book appointments at LifeSpa or visit a sauna or steam room, plus experience whirlpool suites, relaxation lounges and more.

Outside the club, the Life Time approach to healthy living is taking root in communities across the country. For example, the company has partnered with Peerfit to enable members to use their employer-sponsored wellness dollars at its clubs. The partnership is expected to be available at more than 30 Life Time locations this year.

Akradi says he and his team are constantly looking to the future to find new ways to help people achieve their healthy lifestyle goals. For instance, he’s eyeing the opportunity to add more indoor pickleball courts as the sport continues to grow. The company is also experimenting with lifestyle community developments that blend destination resort-style fitness clubs with Life Time Work co-op and shared work spaces and luxury apartments through Life Time Living. This model has already launched at the company’s flagship club in Chanhassen and is set to debut later this year at Southdale Center in Edina.
