Change your workouts frequently – it’s important to keep things fresh and prevent boredom so you don’t lose interest or plateau (that can happen pretty quickly). This means switching up your exercises, the way you move during them and even the environment you workout in!
Learn to listen to your body – this is something that can be difficult to do at first, but it is vital if you are to avoid injuries. It is also a good idea to learn to rest between workouts if you are feeling fatigued, so that you can focus on the next session with a fresh perspective.
Trust the process – it will take time to see results, but it is possible.
It’s easy to get caught up in the hype of a new fitness journey and expect it to be a breeze. But you need to remember that your fitness journey is a marathon, not a sprint. You will encounter set backs along the way and it is not always easy to bounce back from those, but you need to be resilient and keep moving forward.
